Installation Tip: SCX30 uses very small hardware. Use the correct-size driver and light pressure. Tighten only until the screw is seated and snug, then stop. If you feel resistance before it is seated, or if the screw does not thread smoothly, stop and check the alignment before continuing.

The SCX30 has received a significant upgrade. I used 15wt oil, and the car runs noticeably better over terrain. For me, the 22.5mm shocks are just right; they provide small lift without affecting the center of gravity that much compared to 26mm. I used the harder springs included in the kit, which work great with the added weight from all the brass upgrades. However, be cautious with the one only plastic part at the bottom. I might have overtightened it because of its small size, and unfortunately, when I was pulling my body from the chassis, it stripped out. Injora doesn’t include that spare part, so be careful not to overtighten it.

For my Jeep, I was clear about the length of the shock absorbers: 23mm to maintain the scale. A good and necessary improvement.

Lower oil viscosity is recommended, for example 5wt–10wt.
