INJORA OR30 Brushless ESC Guide: Compatibility, Battery Options, and Tuning
What Is the INJORA OR30?
The INJORA OR30 is a sensorless brushless ESC developed for micro RC crawlers. It is designed for outrunner brushless motors, mainly for 1/24 and 1/18 platforms.
Unlike ESCs based on the open-source AM32 platform, the OR30 uses INJORA Roverin control technology. It is built for a smoother low-speed feel, more linear throttle response, app-based tuning, and flexible outrunner motor setups.
Built-in Bluetooth allows the OR30 to connect directly to the INJORA LINK App without an external Bluetooth module.

Which Vehicles and Motors Are Compatible with the OR30?
The OR30 is designed for 1/24 and 1/18 micro crawlers, and can also fit some 1/30 builds if space allows.
It is compatible with brushless motors that are also compatible with the INJORA MBL32 G2 and MBL32 NANO. It can also work with other sensorless outrunner brushless motors when the motor type, voltage, connector, and setup requirements are compatible.
Before choosing a motor, make sure:
- It is a sensorless outrunner brushless motor
- It supports the battery voltage you plan to use
- Its motor connector matches the OR30
- There is enough space for the ESC and wiring

Some stock micro crawlers use a 2-in-1 ESC and receiver system. The OR30 is not compatible with the stock 2-in-1 radio systems used in the SCX24, SCX30, TRX4M, and Ascent-18. A separate receiver with a CH2 port and a compatible transmitter are required.

Should You Use 2S or 3S? XT30 or PH2.0?
The OR30 is available in two versions, each with a different battery connector: PH2.0 or XT30.
Both versions use the same ESC and support 2S and 3S LiPo batteries. A battery adapter cable is included.
We recommend using the PH2.0 version if:
- You mainly use PH2.0 2S batteries
- You want to avoid using a battery adapter
- You want more compact wiring for an SCX24 or similar build
We recommend using the XT30 version if:
- You mainly use XT30 batteries
- You regularly use confirmed 3S motor setups
- You want to use the higher available voltage of a compatible 3S system

What Does the Adjustable BEC Do?
The OR30 provides selectable 5.5V or 7.4V BEC output rated at 5A.
The BEC supplies power to the receiver, steering servo, and other compatible electronics powered through the receiver.
The 7.4V setting allows a compatible high-voltage servo to operate at its supported higher voltage.
Before selecting 7.4V, confirm that every device receiving BEC power supports that voltage.

Why Did We Develop the OR30?
Micro crawler brushless builds now use a wider range of motors, chassis layouts, transmissions, batteries, and connectors.
Different builders may also have different requirements for motor compatibility, low-speed control, throttle response, installation space, and ESC tuning.
The OR30 was developed to provide a more flexible ESC option for these different outrunner brushless setups. Its main design goals include:
- Wider compatibility with outrunner brushless motors
- Smooth low-speed control
- More linear throttle response
- Convenient wireless tuning through the INJORA LINK App
Low-speed control is important for technical crawling. A more linear throttle response makes it easier to predict how the vehicle will react to small throttle inputs when driving over rocks, obstacles, and steep terrain.
Does the OR30 Support Wireless Programming?
Yes. Bluetooth is built directly into the OR30, so no external Bluetooth module is required.
The OR30 connects to the INJORA LINK App, allowing you to adjust supported settings from your smartphone, including:
- Throttle response
- Drag brake
- BEC voltage
- Other supported ESC parameters
For most builds, we recommend starting with the factory settings.
When tuning the ESC, change one parameter at a time and test the vehicle after each adjustment. Changing several settings at once makes it difficult to identify which setting caused the change.
