I bought 3 of them and during install one pulled apart on me, I don't know if it was my fault or not, but I know you better be gentle with them. And I did contact support about it, but I got the feeling that they didn't to much care. Like I said, I bought more than one.
I don't know exactly what I expected from these light strips but they are impressive and very easy to work with, flexible and with good brightness for downlighting down from the body of my Clod Buster.

The little lights are very cool and look great but, they are so wimpy you hardly move them around and they break. Yes they keep working till they're so short they're just junk. Gotta make them stronger
Do these require the light controller to turn these on/off with the ch3 button on my transmitter?
These LED strip lights do not require the CH3 button by default.
If connected directly to the receiver, they will stay on when powered.
To control the lights via the transmitter (CH3 button) or switch lighting modes, an additional light controller is required.
I bought 2 white ones, order #199585, I have installed one and half of it isn't working?

Can you make orange?
You can choose red, which is very close to orange.
Can I run these directly off of a 2s LiHv?
Not recommend.
